HMS Gåssten is a unique ship, with a rich history. She is moored in the perfect cultural village of Henningsvær, a colourful working fishing port situated on the southern side of the Lofoten islands in northern Norway. Originally commissioned as a minesweeper for the Swedish navy, she was one of the last wooden-hulled warships to be built. Now refurbished as an adventure cruiser, Gåssten exudes comfort, warmth and beauty. Her immaculate interior is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning landscape of Norway’s Lofoten archipelago.
